FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Practical answers for sourcing teams comparing cosmetic contract manufacturers.

+ Are you a factory or a trading company?

Derm is a fully integrated cosmetics factory — not a trading company or middleman. We own our production lines, R&D laboratory, quality control systems, and logistics operations in Foshan Guangdong, China. You deal directly with the manufacturer, which means better pricing, faster communication, and greater transparency at every stage of your project.

+ How do you keep quality consistent across large reorders?

Every order is measured against the approved Golden Sample, with four in-house labs, a 15-step SOP, and ERP batch tracking across production.

+ Can you help with US MoCRA and EU CPSR compliance?

Yes. Derm supports documentation for MoCRA product listing and EU CPSR and Product Information Files under Regulation 1223/2009.

+ What are your MOQs and lead times?

MOQ per SKU depends on formula and packaging, roughly 5,000-10,000 pcs for standard packaging, 10,000 pcs for tubes, and 30,000 pcs for sheet masks. Private label production typically runs about 4-6 weeks.

+ Where is Derm located, and do you export worldwide?

The factory and headquarters are in Foshan, China, and Derm ships to more than 30 countries across North America, South America, Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Africa, and Oceania.

+ What is the difference between private label, OEM/ODM, and contract manufacturing?

Private label means selling a proven ready-made formula under your brand. OEM/ODM means developing a custom formula you own. Contract manufacturing usually refers to large-scale production of either.
